Shonda Rhimes is the creator of popular shows “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.” She was also the executive producer of the television show “How to Get Away With Murder”. This book is an amazing read that helps readers identify key attributes of themselves and achieve their best life. There are several exercises throughout the novel that help readers identify certain beliefs, attributes, and habits that could potentially prevent an individual from reaching their full potential. This read is a great book to read if you need motivation to achieve the goals and dreams you want to achieve in your life. “You Are a Badass” is a fun, comedic, and inspirational book that helps readers step outside of themselves and honestly assess the role models who are becoming the best of us.

Choose Yourself: Be Happy, Make Millions, Live the Dream by James Altucher

In this phenomenal read, author Altucher presents the idea that the most valuable asset to always invest in is ourselves. Throughout the book, Altucher illustrates how people can invest themselves in the best possible way to maximize their success and personal growth. This is a great book for people with an entrepreneurial spirit. However, overall this is an extremely motivating and inspiring book that every student should read as they work towards achieving their dreams and goals.
