Humphrey Hale of Carnival Resources Ltd (ASX:CAV) talks to Andrew Scott of Proactive after the explorer closed the books on an air drilling program at the Kookynie gold project. Carnival has undertaken to extend Kookynie’s high-grade McTavish East discovery between McTavish East and Champion South, and program assays are scheduled for August. In the meantime, Carnival is awaiting the results of an RC drilling program, the results of which are expected in the coming weeks. Overall, Hale says exploration continues to shape the company’s understanding of Kookynie’s complex regolith profile.
